Our Story

SEN MASTER ACADEMY consists of a group of individuals with diverse skills and a keen interest in martial arts. It was way back in 2008 when we realised that martial arts could be used as an instrument to help special needs individuals in not only their health and fitness, but also improve skills needed for daily activities. Circa 2016.. our dream of having a place to call our own had finally materialized! Thus was born SEN MASTER ACADEMY at the Ativo Plaza within the quaint settings of a little township called Bandar Sri Damansara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Today, we serve a sizeable group of not only special needs individuals (ranging from 5 years olds to adult) but also mainstream children and grown-ups. We have private & group special needs (SN) classes, inclusive (mixed SN & mainstream) group classes & purely mainstream senior belt group classes. There is no segregation of special needs and mainstream, where possible. In fact, we train and socialize together in inclusive groups (for those who are able to) and learn from each other, thus building a community that learns to care, respect and empathize.
